Stonehill 10K Run / Huddle Relay

Life is Calling sports is back with its unique– fitness, sports & wellness event in the IT hub of Bengaluru. Stonehill 10K Run / Huddle Relay is organized to encourage team building across teams with an informal sports backdrop. We strongly believe that professional skills acquired at the workplace will come handy while taking on the challenges of this event and a participant exhibiting technical finesse, team work and precise execution will be the winner.

Stonehill 10K Run / Huddle Relay Run is being organized on Sunday, 23rd September, 2018. at Stonehill International School, Tarahunise Post, Jala Hobli, Bengaluru-560098.

The Venue is around 18 Kms from Hebbal Flyover towards Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL). Driving time is around 20 minutes. The School is situated next to Padukone Dravid Centre for Sports Excellance.

Driving Directions: Take the Elevated Road towards KIAL from Hebbal – after Yelahanka Airforce station get on to the service road on the Left – At EMMVEE take a Left Turn – at the end of Double Road keep to the right at V Junction – Continue straight, cross the Railway Crossing – take the 1 st right and drive around 800 meters to reach Stonehill International School.

Participation in Stonehill 10K Run / Huddle Relay event under different categories will encompass the following running events;

  1. 4 x 5 Kms Corporate Relay ( Men, Women & Mixed category)
  2. 4 x 5 Kms Open Relay (Mixed Category)
  3. 35 Kms Run
  4. 25 Kms Run
  5. 10 Kms Run
  6. 5 Kms Kids Run ( 10 yrs – 15 yrs)

Categories:

  1. Corporate Team (Men)
    • A team comprises of 4 Men from the same company.
    • Each of the team members run 5 Kms each to complete the 20 Kms run in total.
    • Top 3 Teams to receive Trophies and Certificates.
  2. Corporate Team (Women)
    • A team comprises of 4 Women from the same company
    • Each of the team members run 5 Kms each to complete the 20 Kms run in total.
    • Top 3 Teams to receive Trophies and Certificates.
  3. Corporate Team (Mixed)
    • A team comprises of 4 Runners from the same company.
    • The team must comprise a minimum of 1 Male or 1 Female Runner.
    • Each of the team members run 5 Kms each to complete the 20 Kms run in total.
    • Top 3 Teams to receive Trophies and Certificates.
  4. Open Category (Mixed)
    • 4 runners can come together to form a team.
    • The team members can be family members, ex-colleagues, friends, running group members.
    • The team must comprise a minimum of 1 Male or 1 Female Runner. Minimum age is 11 years.
    • Each of the team members run 5 Kms each to complete the 20 Kms run in total.
    • Top 3 Teams to receive Trophies and Certificates

Awards and Recognition :

  1. Top 3 Teams in each category to receive Awards and Certificates.
  2. All finishers to receive Medals.
  3. Timing Certificate can be downloaded from our website.
  4. All participants to receive Event T-Shirt.

25 Kms Run (Men/Women)

Features of the Event:

  1. Timing Chips will be used to time the participants in 4 x 5 Kms Corporate / Open Relay, 35 Kms Run, 25 Kms Run, 10 Kms Run & 5 Kms Kids Run. Timing Certificates can be downloaded from www.lifeiscalling-sports.com.
  2. Top 3 Finisher teams in Corporate / Open Relay to receive Trophies and Certificates.
  3. All Finishers in Corporate / Open Relay, 35 Kms Run, 25 Kms Run, 10 Kms Run and 5 Kms Kids run to receive Finisher Medals.
  4. All participants to receive Event T-Shirt.
  5. Water station on the route to serve Water, Energy drink, Biscuits and Fruits.
  6. Water stations will be equipped with First Aid Kits.
  7. Medical / Physio Station will be set up at the Start/Finish Point.
  8. Refreshments and Award Ceremony will follow with Entertainment post the race.
  9. Group Registration Discount can be offered for corporate professionals, Apartment Residents, Running groups, Participants from schools and colleges.
